UNIQUE CARS

During the 14th year of the Prague Carlsbad Pupp Classic Rally, hundreds of interesting, unique, legendary cars of famous, well-known and rare brands took part in the races, both from existing large car manufacturers and manufacturers that have already disappeared. You will regularly see different years of Porsche, Ferrari, Jaguar, VW, BMW, Alfa Romeo, Mercedes, Wikov, Tatra, Škoda, MG and others at the Rally. Their list would be very long, and you can find a taste of them in the main photo gallery of Prague Carlsbad Pupp Classic.

The Aston Martin DB6 is a cult car that James Bond also drove. This year, it was the decoration not only of our race but also of the announcement ceremony.

MERCEDES 300sl GULLWING

This beautiful Mercedes 3.0L 6-cylinder had number 4 last year. You know that SL stands for Super Light, and it was the first time in automotive history that Mercedes introduced a lightweight tubular chassis. The body is aluminium. The Mercedes 300 SL was voted the sports car of the century in 1999.

Wikov 7/28 sport

This car of the now-defunct Wikov company (Wichterle and Kovařík) is a traditional participant in Prague Carlsbad Classic, and its driver is a descendant of one of the founders of this once-famous brand.

Wikov 40 TAXI - 1934

The beautiful classic car Wikov 40 with the rear-wheel drive was designed by the Czech designer Boleslav Hanzelka and was produced between 1933-1937. This particular piece was produced in the Taxi variant in 1934 and bore the number 8 at our event.

Tatra 97 - 1938

The Tatra 97 was the successor of the larger 87 but a pioneer of streamlined bodywork. The designer was the then-famous designer Hans Ledwinka, whose design inspired the famous VW Beetle and later cars by Porsche designer.

TATRA 603 - 1961

This Tatra car was the successor of the famous Tatra 600 car, the so-called "Tatraplán", and was among the representative cars between 1955 and 1975. The streamlined body design is the work of artists František Kardaus and Vladimír Popelář. In the year 2022, the car had number 51.

VW T2B - WESTFALIA

The famous VW buses were also produced in the Westfalia version from 1968 when the family company of the same name modified the then (and also current) VW vans into campervans. This particular car is from 1972, carried race number 29 and was a limited edition modification under the name Düsseldorf.

Chevrolet El Camino SS - 1970

We welcomed the American-style car from 1970 in the so-called "coupé utility" modification at the Prague Carlsbad Classic for the first time. This "America" with an eight-cylinder engine with a volume of 7.2 litres turned many heads of our fans

Porsche 928 - Juhan -1989

The Porsche 928 was initially supposed to replace the famous 911, which never happened. However, this particular car was owned by the famous car racer and enthusiast Jaroslav Juhan, a legend of the Porsche racing team. He started his career here in style with 2nd place in the famous Carrera Panamericana race.

Porsche 911 Speedster - 1989

Only 2104 of these cars were produced, and they were produced only in 1989. It was one of the first so-called "supercars", and this year it also drove in our rally with the number 52.
